only video timeline
Hi everybody,
Maybe a silly question, but I searched for “only video timeline” and didn´t find any post about it.
Can I close only the audio part of the timeline in a finished work, without affecting it?
I´m working in the subtitles in a project I already finished and blocked but my working space is limited to a G-4 17″ screen, so I was wondering if I could just close the audio timeline, not dragging the limit between audio and video to narrow the audio, that still steals some space, but actually just showing the video in the timetile (like when we close the browser, for instance, or the viwer…), but without losing the audio.
I´m not worry about sync, since I have the space for the subtitles already define by my very crappy previous subtitles that I´m just substituing with the new ones, improved thanks to the cow-workers 🙂 (this is probably a very spanglish joke…)

It’s possible to make a video only sequence by nesting only a video clip. So you could select all your video clips, then choose Sequence > Nest Items to make a new sequence. Double-click the new sequence and you’ll see there’s no audio track in sight.
