Only still frames with FCP, DVCProHD 720p25 footage
Can’t get video playback with footage from P2 camera, just showing still frames. I used the DVCProHD 720p25 Easy Setup and then choose Blackmagic HDTV 720p 50hz 8-bit as my external video play back setting.
No problems playing back regular DV timelines.
System: MacPro, FCP 5.1.2, HD Extreme card with 5.7.2 drivers.

Yep.
This is the way it is at the moment.
I’d love to see 720p 25 monitoring soon as well.

Only AJA Kona does support 720p25 DVCPRO HD monitoring currently.
But they do a trick, as they embed the 25p signal into 60p so your
monitor must be able to display 720p60. You find more information on
an article on my website. Unfortunately the site is blocked here so you
have to google for: 720p50
