Only sound tracks inserted when subclip dropped in canvas (insert).
What is going on when a subclip dropped on the canvas (FCP 4.1) puts only the sound tracks in the timeline; that is, the video is missing? The clip is complete for all other purposes (select and paste etc.).

Have you targeted the video and the audio in the timeline window? if not, that’s the problem..

Maybe I only thought I new what targeting is, can you share the concept as you understand it?
