I searched and found similar issues but none that addressed this specifically. Am I missing something here? I’ve:

    – manually synced up some clips in a timeline
    – nested them as a sequence
    – enabled multi-cam on the nested clip
    – a multicam sequence is created, and shows in source monitor with the two angles
    – click multicam edit mode in the timeline and only one angle shows

What am I doing wrong? I’m 87.5% certain it’s worked fine this way before. Screengrab: https://i.imgur.com/Yd72MRx.jpg

    Thanks

You have to enable the “multicam viewer” – Shift+Zero.

I’ve done that, you can see multicam view is selected in the screenshot. I would expect to see my two angles on the left screen which is just black, no?

My apologies for not looking at the screen grab.

The problem is you have to target the track that you want multicam playback from. Ppro will only play back from the lowest targeted track. In your case you have track 3 targeted but your shots are on tracks 1 and 2. Note that Ppro will only show multicam, and let you switch cameras, on one track at a time, and it is always the lowest targeted track. If no tracks are targeted it will default to track 1.
