Online in HD on FCP
Does FCP render at a higher quality then 8bit….specifically any effects…dissolves….are those really rendered in 8 bit??? Hope not…..

Depends on your sequence settings. If you are on a 10-bit timeline, everything is 10-bit.

I thought I remember seeing something about the FX in FCP like dissolves rendering in 8 bit…which would be a shame….
