One stop animation interlacing using photoshop layers

I’ve figured out how to change interlacing on film footage to Upper in both Premier and After effects. I figured this out when I saw an interlacing issue on a previous export for broadcast.
However, when I export motion graphics using one stop animation in After Effects, using photoshop Psd layers (not vectors). I’m seeing what I think is the same interlacing problem. It’s very slight, but I notice it in the export. I’m exporting using Upper interlacing, as the export for broadcast. The exported file is a .mov and not an .MXF file, yet. But is there a way of stopping this happening? What I’m seeing is very slightly lines and on occasional frames….
Do I need to interlace each PSD file within After Effect, so that each layer is correct interlaced with the correct upper field? Or is there a setting within the photoshop file? Or save setting? png rather than .psd? Any advice?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a link that might help me resolve this issue. It’s not huge issue, but seeing it is bugging the hell out of me, and I can’t find anything online as such… yet!
Any advice would be great appreciated…as the post I’ve been reading have already been an amazing help so far 🙂
