One Step DVD with Timecode?

The only way to add TC is to nest the clip and add the TC Reader plugin, render, then export for DVD.

I know man…I feel your pain. For a 90 min DVCPRO HD show I am looking at 10-12 hours for one DVD…

if you need to do this “quickly” the way to go is nest the sequence, add the tc generator, and “export using compressor”, not export to quicktime. This way you avoid the render and then the encode. You render and encode at the same time. This will lock up FCP so you can’t use it, so if you need to continue editing this is not the method to go about it.
