    Hello:

I am working on a documentary in FCP7, and I have two identical sequences. Sequence A I am using to apply Japanese subtitles and Sequence B English subtitles. Even though Sequence B is the copy of Sequence A and the Sequence Settings are the same, Sequence B has lower quality. The images in Sequence B seem to have more grain and noise.
Can anybody know how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you in advance

    Jimena

could be the sequences aren’t rendered.

in which case you might have GREEN preview-quality RT on one sequence,
and ORANGE “Unlimited” quality RT on the other, which can look a fair bit worse, as FCP drops resolution to play it back.

the issue arises as FCP only has so much RAM to create the greet preview quality, after which it switches to orange

how does it look if you render a section?
or even park on a frame?

Hello Nick thank you so much for your reply.

Both sequences are rendered. So I don’t know what could be the problem.
    Any other idea besides render?

    Thank you again

    Hello Nick
I think I found the problem…When I open sequence B / Basic Motion / Scale, I have 225 for scale value for every clip. Do you know if it is possible to set 100 scale value for all of the clips at once, or I do you think I have to do it manually, clip by clip?

    thank you
