  one of two P2s doesn’t show on desktop

  hi all,

  sometimes when i try to offload footage, one of the two p2 cards doesn’t show up on the desktop…

  i’m going directly from camera to macbook (also have external harddrive attached to computer).

  and i go through all appropriate steps–write protect cards, connect 1394 cable, put camera into 1394 mode…but then only one of the two cards shows up on the desktop.

  i have been able to get it to show up by turning off camera and re-doing process.

  but i’d like to get to the bottom of this and figure out what’s happening.

  thanks for any advice.
