One layer isn’t showing when exporting at 100% size, but it shows when rendering at 50% or less.

I have a to me very mind gobbling issue. I have been googeling for an hour now and haven’t found any clues.
I’m working on a movie which has several effects in it and several film layers. These film layers are .movs.
The file is 1200×675, and for the use on a website i downscaled it 50% with the render queu. I didn’t have any problem then.
Now i want to render it at 1280x…p to show in HD on youtube, but 1 of the layers is just not appearing. It has no effects, no expressions and nothing of any sort editted. It shows when im exporting on half resolution, but not on 75% or 100%, or to get to 1280 when i stretch it to 102.somthing%
I am baffled by this, the layer is just a plain movie layer, and all the other movie layers just work fine.
Oh great creative cows, help me please.

I don’t have the right answer for you but here are some of my work-arounds when working with quicktime files and getting errors:
Quicktimes can cause problems when accessed more then once at a time. So make sure its not open somewhere else or accessed by another machine.
Also try to purge the cache by choosing Edit -> Purge -> All
This helps me sometimes when a layer refuses to show at 100% but shows at lower resolutions.If you cant solve the problem create a proxy of the this particualr .mov file (for example a PNG-Sequence) and render it with Proxies enabled.
