One HD format to another HD format question with CS4
Hi All,
I’m doing a project in Encore CS4. It will be a Blu-ray disc, and I will be targeting both the Americas and Europe. I will also be using Blustreak Premaster to convert the BD Image to a BDCMF.
Bascially the client is suppling the final edit as 1920×1080 25fps interlaced.
I read on this thread that the best solution would be to have the footage be 1920×1080 24fps progressive.I’m using the CS4 Master Suite and I have access to ProCoder 3.
Would someone be able to ‘nudge’ me in the right direction with regards to converting the video?
Any help is truely appreicated!

Hi Clint,
you need to conform your quicktime-movie to 1080p24.if you have been working with FCP you could use apple cinematools for this.
but I guess you are going the adobe-way, so you should use Aftereffects to do so, you can conform 25 to 24.
that means your video/audio will slow down by 4%, but this is a common workflow for things like that.
afterwards you need to stretch your audio 4% as well, to fit the lenth of the movie.
