Are the Xserves 14 drive models? And are the two 7 drive sides striped together? Are they 512MB cache raid controllers? Are you running two Dual port Fiber Channel cards to connect the two xserves? Are the cards in the correct slot? Do you have at least 2GB of ram in the G5?

    Lots of questions,

Are the Xserves 14 drive models?
Yes Both Drive are 14 drives with 400G for each one.

And are the two 7 drive sides striped together?

Yes they are strip togather with raid 0.

Are they 512MB cache raid controllers?
Yes the cache control with maximum cache.

Are you running two Dual port Fiber Channel cards to connect the two xserves?
Yes using the apple dual port cards.

Are the cards in the correct slot? Do you have at least 2GB of ram in the G5?
Yes, the cards are in the correct slots.

Not sure why it happen, after several test, it should not the RAID problem, maybe the system have somethings corrupted. We re-install the whole system, the problem gone. it maybe the driver problem or system problem.

    thanks for your help.
