  • one frame jump- on importing animation codec??

Posted by Ldogiewicz on July 25, 2007 at 6:59 pm

I am working with DVCProHD 720p60. When I import a graphic from Livetype or Motion and place it in the timeline, I get a one frame jump on my video….sometimes.

The jump will be on the head or tail of the graphic clip. The only thing different with the video and my imported graphics properties seems to be the compressor. The codec for the graphics is animation.

    Any suggestion would help, thanks.

Where do you see this? If you put a slug in the front of the back of it, do you still see the jump?

I am cutting a promo video with talking heads on the first track and graphics on the second layer.

I see the jump on the first frame of where the graphic is placed, but the jump is on the video (talking heads). So the graphic is somehow interfering with the video. I was thinking it was the codec because it seems to be the only diffrence in the properties of each if the clips?

I tried putting slug, but I need to see the composite so I don’t think that’s it?!
