One Camera Live Streaming Events
Hello,
First of all, what is everyone’s opinion on this: https://www.ustream.tv/producer
I think it looks pretty simple and does two steps in one: encodes the video and then hosts it online.
Secondly, I have a JVC Pro HD (https://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/specs.jsp?model_id=MDL101851&feature_id=03), it does not have firewire, I could only use composite and HDMI I believe to transfer from my camera to my MacBookPro (haven’t researched cables yet). Would anyone care to give a recommendation for how to go about this?

Hi according to the specs you have 4pin firewire so you can go straight to your Macbook pro depending if its 6 (FW400) or 9 pin (FW800) otherwise you would need a capture card or converter for HDMI or composite options.
