I’m trying to find an expression to make text or an object seem like it’s coming from a distance like an oncoming car: starting off slow (small in the distance) and then speeding up as it get’s closer. How can this be done? I have AE 6.5 Pro. Thanks!

Why not just make it 3D, start with it way off in the distance in the z direction, and then animate it moving towards the camera. That will automatically give you the proper exponential scaling effect?

If you do it with a 2D scale expression, you’ll probably want to use an exponential equation to get a realistic look. It can be done, but it takes some tweaking to get it right.
