    Folks,
Has anyone seen a small (5-7 inch) LED backlit LCD monitor meant for on-camera use yet? If so please reply with make/model and any feedback on quality, color accuracy, usability, etc.
It would seem that LED should really help with contrast while shooting outside, never mind longer battery life, etc.

    Thanks!
    Jim

Thanks, Gary. I’ve rented this one actually – a nice monitor. I’m now on a constrained budget and looking for an under-$1k lite weight model for attachment to camera. I was not sure if anyone (such as smallHD or Marshall) had begun offering LED backlighting on the prosumer market yet. Looks like they are still focusing on LCD at the moment.
    Best,
    Jim

Ikan monitors don’t use OLED’s, but they are less expensive than the Sony.
