  OMF tracks “locked” in pro tools

  I made an OMF 2 from a PC Symphony Nitrus, My sound egineer says that when he zooms in and tries to fix the wave form with the free hand tool, there is a lock icon by the pencil,

  Basically he needs to record the section onto another track in order to open up the wave form and work his magic. Any ideas?
