omf to mxf
Just recently started doing most projects in mxf, but often need to rebuild old projects that used the omf media type.
From new mxf project, opened old backedup bin/sequence and did batch import/recreate titles. Avid went through the motions but ended up re-creating the files as omf, showing up offline in my project.
Any idesa?

Try changing your project type to OMF in settings / media creation? I don’t believe you can open an OMF project in an MXF project, and vice versa…
