  OMF export with external files, will not AUTO re-connect in pro-tools or Audition!

  ok so I finally updated from 2015.2 which was very stable for us to the latest 2017.1.1

  Question for Adobe support:

  Why is it that exporting an omf with externally linked files, the files don’t relink in
  Pro Tools? And now with these latest versions even Audition cannot auto relink.

  That makes no sense. It’s been a problem for quite some time now. It seems
  silly that Audition needs me to browse for the first file, it didn’t do that in previous versions.

  The workaround has always been to export the omf, open it in audition then export it
  again with same settings, then import to Pro Tools (version 10) and it then auto links them.

  I’m surprised this has been over looked going as far back as CS 5.5
  This was NEVER a problem in Final Cut Pro.

  Please fix this in the next version.
