    OMF, dammit !

    ahoy,

    i cannot export sequences in an omf format.
    i’ve tried many avenues and they all lead to “aaf” files.
    i’m on media composer 2.6.4
    what on earth am i missing here.

    Just to clarify, are you working in HD??
    If so, there is a work around as you technically can’t export OMF in HD.

    The simplest work around is to open an audio only version of your hd sequence in a frame rate compatible SD project and export from there.

    We just ran into this too. My question is, WHY can’t you export an OMF from and HD project????

    How do you open a SD version of an HD project with audio only so that you can do this?
