OMF 2 Export snafu
Avid Adreniline 2.2.7 system using local stoarge
I have someone attempting to export a finished 1:1 sequence t OMF 2 andit’s having trouble It is being consolidated and exportedto OMF2 using linked media. When ti is epxorting it says “creating video Efects” somewhere in the midst of this it gives:
“EXCEPTION OMFIDOMAIN ERROR: Closing domain”
i called Avidon this and they said it was probably a databasing error. I deleted all creating folders and database fils from all the media dirves(the media is all over so ti was easier that way). I’m yet to be able to try again. One thing that i was wondering is the Avid tech mentioned there was a bug in older versions(like prior to 2.6) there was a bug in the export OMF tool. I can’t find any tech alerts on it or anything. As wondering if anyone else had any experience will a problem like this?

Try exporting sections of your sequence (gradually increasing the length) until you can narrow down what effect is causing the problem. Perhaps just re-rendering that effect (or as a last resort, removing it) will fix the export issue.
