    I was using fcp4 when I started a project over a year ago, and I wanted to go back and do some work on it. I had since then upgraded to HD. I keep getting an error message saying “unknown” volume. I tried to go back and reinstall the older version but it still did not work. What can I do?

    Unknown volume refers to a hard drive or partition on a hard drive that FCP is searching for.
