old time movie flicker effect????
hello, I am trying to create an animation that looks sort of like a cross between stop action animation and an old time movie flicker effect…does anyone have an idea on how to do this? The final out put will be at 29.97 video standard…I dont know-maybe there is something in time re-mapping that does this or an expression. I am working in AE 6.5 pro.

It is best to find a film simulater filter that you like to acheive this. I usually export my animation out of AE and import to FCP to add “Film Look” filter by CGM. The URL is:
