Old Project Rendered with HUFFY YUV Not Opening
Mike Watson
December 20, 2020 at 3:58 amI recently reset my Windows installation and when I tried to open one of my old project files, Sony Vegas wasn’t having it. Naturally, I looked into the media/codec information and saw what the codec was and reinstalled it, however, Sony Vegas still wants nothing to do with the file. What are my options? Is there a way I can plant a codec file into Sony Vegas’ installation folder? Why would it work before and not now? I’ll I’ve ever had installed was ffdshow and some singles like Lagarith or something. I don’t use K-Lite.
Hope you guys can help, this one is eluding the heck out of me, and I really need to get back into this project file, I put a lot of time into it.
Thanks!

December 22, 2020 at 3:59 amSo, I tried re-rendering my AVI into FFDshow’s FFYUV codec, but that still won’t open in Sony Vegas 18.0 or 16.0.
What can I do to access my project again? I spent a lot of time in it, and I can’t access it no matter what. Is there a way to maybe render it in Lagarith? I use AVIdemux for my source files, always worked for me in the past, but I need help.
