Old label style
Hello Cow,
First let me start with thanking you guys for keeping this community alive and in such good shape. It is unbelievable how much ive learnt just from reading al this forumstuff. Hell i even like to read about problems that haven’t even occurd to me just to expand my knowledge.
Ok, to the point now. In the beginning of the following trailer (There will be blood) there is a certain logo (paramount vintage) genre old label, you’ll recognize it when you see it. Is there a way i can replicate that in after effects but with my own text? I’d like to create an intro to a dvdmenu that style.

Maybe easiest to haunt the thrift store/rummage sales and buy an old label maker, then film that.
Or… I just Googled Label Maker and got this site. Just type in your word and it makes it onscreen, then copy the gif file (right-click>Save Picture As):
