    Hello,

DOes anyone have any links to old film effects such as scratchs, etc I want to simulate a low budget 70’s film with scratchs, dust and dirt on the projector screen. I have looked in CInelook, Magic Bullett they seem great but the budget for this particular project does not allow these plugins.

Does anyone know a simple b/w clip in PAL 720×576 which has varied dust, scratchs but quite subtle I could use from any clip bank online for free?

    Thanks,

    Leo

    Hello,

I tried that but the scratchs and dust is to much as I want something more subtle and oly a few scratchs and dust etc. Are theere any other already rnedered clips of real film stock scans?

    Thanks,

All you need to do is use Andrew’s clip and lower the opacity until you get the results you are looking for.

Probably won’t help but Boris CC has a damaged film filter.

Are you sure about the degradation in the 1970’s.
I don’t remember that kind of dust and scratches from back then.
    Maybe the 20’s, 30’s & 40’s…even in the 50’s.

Mostly limited color palette in 60’s.

But the seventies the visuals brightened and cleared up considerably.

Do you have a clip to use as a reference point?
