    Hello!

I am going to do an animation where a logo is written on with an old-fashioned feather pen; the kind that you would dip into an inkwell. I am familiar with how to animate the actual strokes, and my thinking is that I will keep the anchor point of the feather-pen on the tip of the pen, and link the position of the pen to masks derived from the logo. Then I guess I’ll manually animate the rotation of the pen as it writes, to make it more realistic. But my main challenge right now is: Where can I find a good picture/graphic of a feather-pen? I’ve searched through a few stock image libraries, but haven’t found one yet. Does anyone here have a suggestion where I might find such a thing? Naturally, I can draw the image myself, but I’m not very good at Illustrator, and besides, I have very little time to finish this (big surprise!). So a ready-made feather-pen would help me out a lot. As usual, I appreciate any suggestions you may have! 🙂

    Kind regards,
    Eric

Have you searched under “quill” or “calamus”?
