  OK to add BM Codecs to system with Decklink?

  I’m using CPC closed caption software to add closed captions to a show done with Decklink extreme. I notice that with a normal board installation, the 8-bit codec doesn’t show up in the drop down list.

  Is it OK to install the software codec onto a machine which has the decklink extreme hardware installed?
