I used to work FCP 4.5 before a recent upgrade.
I also use particleillusion and have been able to get some very decent results between the two.

However… I got Final Studio thingy 2 with FCP 7 and Motion 4 etc… and have recently started working with Blender 3d (Very funky).

Ah… but.. I hear you cry. All the particleillusion and Blender tutorials i have come across seem to assume that I have Adobe AE.
    Which I don’t. 🙁

So… for those of you still reading this… Should I get it? or am i best sticking with what i know and learn to use motion instead.

in short: Apple Motion or AE?

(should’ve just said that i guess)

[Iain MacKinnon] “in short: Apple Motion or AE?”

Better to post this question in the Apple Motion forum instead of here.

If you bought the bundle, you have Motion already, you should try to use it. Even if you decide to get into AE later, Motion is a great introduction to conceopts shared by both programs. it is IMO much easier to learn than AE and does a lot of the same basic things.
