There has to be a simple way of doing this but I have searched and can’t find a way.

Basically I am animating several properties of a still layer in my comp with expression added to each property. I want to be able to just duplicate this layer and replace the contents then offset the start of that layer but I don’t want to have to go into each expression and add an valueAtTime expression. I just want the entire duplicated layer to start where ever it’s inpoint is.

    Thanks

That’s a little vague. Are you saying that you have expressions that depend on time and you want them to start at the layer’s In Point instead of at time zero? If so, you probably just need replace time in your expressions with time – inPoint.

If it’s something else that you’re after, you’ll need to provide more info (it would probably help to see the expression you’re working with).
