Hi, I am sure this has been asked many times but I can’t find just what I want to know. I would like to be able to capture from digibeta at 2:1 mxf at my current employers. Then I would like to be able to take home an offline version of this (approx 5 1hr programmes). Re-edit these at home and then be able to come back in to my employers and conform the online material and add clocks etc. They have MC 3.5.9 on a PC and I have MC 5 on a mac laptop. Is there a guide somewhere to the best way to do this?
    Many thanks, Matt.

capture at work, put that media on it’s own drive, bring that into your mxf folder at home, edit away, then just bring the project back to work.

The normal workflow would be that you capture at low resolution in the first place, edit that, then only capture high resolution what you need for the finished version.

Normal maybe but not what I want to do. I can take the full res. files home as Grinner suggests but they are 95Gb which is possible but can I take home low res. versions and still have the project at my employers link to the high res. originals?
    Matt.
