Offline-to-online media management headache
I’ve got two projects that use the much of the same footage. I’ve got an offline project with all the low res clips. When I made a new project with trimmed footage just for the first program, I have all kinds of trouble reconnecting the media because FCP keeps finding the other project’s capture scratch for some reason. I’ve run into this before when I named an After effects render “intro.” FCP kept trying to link to a movie in the Apple example footage directory, checking there even before the directory it was just found in.
Are other people having this problem?
