I’m wondering if anyone can kindly point me to the right path on this message I’m receiving when I go and try and export a project. A dialogue pops up telling me that the project has missing or offline titles, effects or generators.

Nothing appears to be visually missing from the project though.

    Pointers, please? Anyone?

You can go into your event browser and look for the missing media icon. It’s a small triangle with an exclamation mark in it. When you find these, you can either try to relink the media, or go ahead and delete the clip from the event if it’s offline and not needed.

This can easily happen if you alter one of the original files, such as a photoshop file.

He is talking about titles, effects or generators not clips from the events.

I am having the same issue. Help! I have a deadline and unless I go through and recreate each and every title, generator and effect (which is time consuming at best) I am at a loss. If I knew which title/effect/generator was the culprit it would be so much easier.

The project exports (shares) but none of the changes I made in the titles show up in the “share”/exported file.
Unfortunately I am not the only editor on this project so I am not familiar with all the elements used. I am taking over for someone who is sick. My deadline was today.

So far I’ve tried rebooting the computer (alway my first troubleshooting action), creating a new project and copying/pasting the clips into a new timeline. Now I’m just scouring the internets for answers.
