    Hello,
    I am running FCP 4.5 HD On G5 Dual 2.0Ghz, Ram 2.5 GB I got SCSI 300GB, Lacie 250GB (7200rpm), Seagate 400gb (7200rpm)

The problem is that whenever I open my project in the morning I get 7-8 clips which says Media offline, these r the random clip, 2morrow some other 7-8 clips goes offline. This happens every day. And after that I have to connect those clips one by one.

Cannot figure out who is the suspect. My most of my media has a buffer space of 7-10GB for working. I know this is still even less.

I did trash Preferences and POA cache file… might help. Reinstalled the cinewave drives. But in Vain.

    Hope to get any solutions.

    Regards

    Zishan

Your directories on the media drives may have become somewhat corrupted. This is known to happen over time when files are being deleted from or being written to your hard drives. Consider buy the program DiskWarrior to keep all your directories in top shape.

The problem of randomly missing media files may also be the result of a corrupt project file. Try copying your work into a new empty project to see if that solves your problem.
