offline files not copied to Event folder – no hard drive location info in the event or the properties tab
I have files that are offline and not copied to the Event folder and there is no hard drive location information in the event or the properties tab to know which hard drive these files came from.

Not without a manual search, no.
It is possible, if using aliases, that the file could have moved. If you “Show File Status” in the inspector, it will show you the filename of the offline file. Do a spotlight search with one of the filenames and see if it has changed directories.
