Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro X Offline File Location Found!

    So I had an offline file (actually I did it on purpose) and finally discovered where to find the location:

    Inspector > Info > Little Settings Icon > Show File Status

    At least you can find out what drive the file is on.

    But what can you do once you’ve found it? Or if the file’s been renamed? Or moved?

    Exactly. Because having the ability to relink to media is just soo last year. 😉

    Actually it looks like if you drag your lost clips into the correct event (just the even title), it will relink them. Seems to work well.

    Of course you really need to be able to find and relink automatically, and have the option to link to different versions of the clips.
