I asked about this earlier and didn’t get very far. How do people edit on non-Decklink equipped Windows machines? I want to compile a large amount of footage mostly from DigiBeta for archive on to the web and DVD. I’m thinking I’d capture to the Decklink MJPEG codec as it looks very good and is relatively small. However if I bring that footage on to other machines that don’t have Decklink hardware I get the red render line in Premiere. This is even with the Decklink software installed. What would be a work flow (and codec) that would work so I could edit captured footage on my Windows lappy without needing to render?

I have Decklink HD Extreme, latest drivers, Windows XP Pro SP2.

    Thanks,
