  Offline Database Error

  Hi,

  i cant import Sony XDCAM EX footage to Final Cut pro (6.0.6)

  If I go Import -> XDCAM…
  FCP tells me something like:
  “The application doesnt support this version of the offline database.
  this is a version 10 offline database… it only supports version 7”
  I think the message comes in connection with the application “XDCAM Transfer” because the symbol of this software appears when the error message is shown. What can I do?

  The application “XDCAM EX Clip browser” is fine with the clips and gives me video and audio of the mp4-files in the preview window.
  If I go for “log and transfer” in final cut I can only listen to the sound of the clips.

  how do I get the footage into FCP? does anybody know this error message? please help. my client wants to see a rough edit from 2 shoots
  until wednesday.
