  Offline audio channel 1 when importing MFX files into Avid Express Pro

  I’m running Avid Express Pro 5.5.2 on a Macintosh 2.7 Dual. When I bring my DVCPRO HD 720P60 MFX files created with the Panasonic HVX 200 camera into Avid, Audio Channel 1 is always offline. I’ve tried this on hundreds of different shots, with the same results. Audio Channel 1 doesn’t show up in Media Tool.

  The import procedure I’ve been following is to drag the video and audio clips into the MFX 1 folder created by Avid. I launch Avid, and then open Media Tool. Then I drag the clips it shows into a separate bin.

  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
