Offf Topic: Dropbox Users, Get an Extra 3 GB
FYI … for all the Dropbox users, if you use the Camera Upload from Android or iOS, you can up to an additional 3 GB of DB space. The space is “permanent”; ie, you can delete the media after the upload and retain the 3 GB of space for other use.
In a nutshell:
a. Within the DB app, use Settings, Turn on Camera Upload. You probably want to be on Wi-Fi and have the phone plugged in.
b. Camera Uploads folder added (if necessary) to your DB account. Media is transferred.
c. DB allocates extra space in 500 MB blocks up to a total of 3 GB.
d. Turn off Camera Upload
e. Move the files out of your DB account; you have 3 GB extra space. If you don’t have enough jpg,mp4 on the phone (ie, you need more for the Camera Upload step b. above), plug the phone into computer and copy media files to the /dcim/camera folder; DB will transfer them as if you took the files with the phone.
