I’m having a strange issue I wanted to see if anyone else with Resolve panels is having. I love the apple magic trackpad and it is of course Bluetooth. The issue is with my Resolve Panels on I get maybe 4 or 5 times a day complete drops of the Bluetooth signal where the magic trackpad disconnects completely. So over the past few days not being booked I was using the system without the panels on (conserving energy and all!) No drop outs, then this evening had to make a change to a show done last week powered up the panels and instant drop of the Bluetooth signal.

    Driving me bonkers, any ideas?

I\\\’ve been seeing something very similar
I\\\’ve had to remove the bluetooth devices

But I am still seeing issues.

The panel seems corrupt the USB some how and reboots don\’t fix it.
I have to power everything off change ports for the USB
Make sure the desk is in full boot mode (seems to be when the red led are on)
Then boot the machine – then it\’s seems to come up clean. Id like to turn my panel off at night but that seems to aggravate the problem.
Ive also had issues with license not working
It think that is also connected! To the problem.

So I\’m not sure it\’s bluetooth
But USB – getting freaked out by the panel.

Not an answer – but glad I\’m not the only one feeling a little pain with this.

Ps. Still have a whining powersupply

I’ve seen a similar issue, although not specific to bluetooth – and I’m using the Tangent panel, not the full set of Resolve panels from DaVinci.

I’m also wondering if it may be the USB software protection dongle? That seems to be a common denominator…..

    Our setup is:
    MacPro (5,1)

Wave CP > USB cable > USB extension cable > MacPro rear USB 1

Apple aluminum keyboard > USB extension cable > MacPro rear USB 2
    |
    = Apple mighty mouse

Resolve USB protection key > MacPro front USB port

I’ve also tried plugging the USB dongle into the keyboard, and seen the exact same behavior.

We are having exact same issues as you both. Any ideas?
