Off topic but…
I’m trying the AE forum to get unbiased opinions. I have a client/friend who wants edit some home movies on his PC. I’m not familiar with the consumer-grade editing software out there. What would you recommend? He’d like it to be able to do split-screens.

iMovie or Premiere Elements, those are my two recommendations. Sony also has a dumbed down version of Vegas but I’ve never seen it. Oh, and Corel now owns the old Ulead product line.
Those are the main contenders.
