If you are interested in any of the BTS content, you might want to decide on any purchases a bit quickly.

Not sure what’s going to happen with the extended edition materials, but Brad (the director) just posted news that he might have a distribution deal in the offing.

The last part of his email notes…

“The documentary has garnered some interest and we are currently pursuing a distribution deal that will allow the documentary to be seen by more people on more platforms than we currently offer with Vimeo OTT alone. That said, part of the deal is that we can’t have the documentary for sale online anywhere, as it could preclude us from making any sort of distribution arrangements.

We’re going to be taking the film down on Wednesday, March 21.”

It says they will honor access to any current purchases made up to then.

    FWIW.

So those of us with Netflix or Amazon Prime will be able to see it without paying anything beyond that.
Of course maybe it’ll be on iTunes with a low rental price.

That’s great news! Though hopefully they will offer hardcopy copies (collector’s editions?) that have all the bonus content. People who really like and/or want to support the film will buy them and the margins will be much better than what they get from Amazon or Apple.
