Oddness with upgrade
Before beginning a multi-month project, I’ve upgraded to FCP 7 & Motion 4 (FCS). I’ve been dogged by odd things in Motion 4: No yellow camera & focal plane in 3D space. White window with imported stills and sequences from FCP. I’ve been persistent in “problem solving”, trashing preferences, and combing the program, preferences & forums for clues. (I can also miss obvious things…)
FCS is an upgrade. If I uninstall and reinstall, must I go back to the previous discs, or will the current ones do the job? What’s the best way top uninstall?
OS 10.5.8 MacPro dual quad core; BlackMagic SDI.
Any advise, leads, pointers would be hugely appreciated.

The hard road works: I reformatted a drive. Clean install of OS 10.5.4, software Update to 10.5.8. New clean install of FCS 3.
Clean install of BlackMagic 7.5. Tested. Works as advertised.Happy Holidays
