  Odd “missing” Fade In transition stuck to first three frames of a clip

  Hi Folks,

  I’ve got a composite lead in that I developed in AE and FCP X and have had great success with it until lately. Starting back with 10.1.4 and now in 10.2, there is a odd “Fade In” that has attached itself to the beginning of the main clip. I can resize it from as little as 3 frames to full seconds, but I can’t get rid of it.

  Nothing’s changed in my effects plugins and Motion templates that I am aware of aside from this morning’s Apple updates.

  Here’s what it looks like:
  

  In the preview, I get the Red screen with the missing asset icon.

  Any ideas? I tried stomping on it by adding a Fade from black, but it still doesn’t act correctly on export.
