Odd glitches
Mac Intel Snow Leopard with Kona LHI, latest drivers for Adobe and Kona. Fresh install of CS 5.5 and all updates.
Once in a while the HDMI output to the monitor will drop out to digital garbage. Sometimes it is after adding an effect or going to the desktop for something else etc. Very inconsistent. Same thing with digitizing. Sometimes you can invoke the Capture tool and the deck is there ready to go…other times I have to go back into settings and select the Kona digitizer and just hit ok and it comes back…pretty flaky. For those of you coming from a FCP/Kona setup (ie Walter) are you seeing this as well?
Pretty frustrating and Adobe is usually better at things like this. We are only now jumping into Premier at this point…not overwhelmed with its stability.

I think it’ll get better soon with new updates from AJA and BMD and of course CS6…

Actually going back to Kona driver 9.0.3 instead of 9.0.6 has solved most of the issues…for now…sometimes newest is not best!
