    Hello everyone,
I have a ten minute short I am grading at the moment. EDL and DPX seem to connect nicely but in the Color window they appear with the red X across as if they are still offline. I continue doing the grading on these offline? clips pretending everything is ok as the client is siting next to me and when I start rendering out as DPX files I only get black frames . No luck trying any other format either, the results are the same. Any ideas are very welcome. Thanks.
    Monica
PS: DPX files were created with Premier

It sounds like you are unable to conform and you are just seeing the attached offline clip. You can disable the shine offline clip through gaps option. You need to check why your edl is not matching with the DPX timecode.
