Ocean – Rough Waves, Perfect Storm Effect
Hey everyone-
I was wondering if someone could please help me out with a tutorial or maybe some tips on how to get really choppy, animated ocean waves. I’m making a scene where a frigate military boat is going through arctic oceans and need something that looks really realistic.

I’ve seen some tutorials for water that are mixing noises but I have not seen animated water tutorials that I can remember with that much water movement. There is the Add The Sea plugin that can do great looking things

Just out of curiosity, would you happen to know if it’s possible to have heavy rain hitting up against a window in C4D? Or is that more of a Red Giant thing in after effects?
