Obtain colour information from a layer…
Is there a way to take information from an area on a layer and convert it to a number. For example, if you have the sun in shot, take the value of the sun (be it combined or singular R,G,B info of a pixel or a selected area) and have it attached to a slider?

You can use an expression with sampleImage() to get color information for a specific point.
