  • Object rotation point offset?

I’m brand new to Pro Animator and am having a really tough time making the (workflow) switch from after effects.

Is there a way to offset the rotation point/axis for an object in PA? What was an easy adjustment of an anchor point in AE is escaping me in Pro Animator.

In my project, I have 4 objects and I’m trying to get 3 of them to rotate around a common x axis in 3D space. I can get them to rotate, although they rotate around the center point of the object (3 different axis) and I can’t find a control to offset the object center point to the desired (common) axis.

I have a rough animatic I did in AE that I can share with anyone who wants to see. I don’t see a way to attach a PDF (clip note) here, I guess I could email it?

Thanks for any insight, I like the product (a lot!), it’s just that years of AE use have me in the keyframe/expression mindset and this pose workflow doesn’t seem natural to me 🙂

    Thanks!
